African Science, Technology hub to be built in Addis
Ethiopian Ministry of Science and Technology has recently announced that it has finished all the necessary preparations to construct African Science and Technology Hub in Addis Ababa Ethiopia.
ondwosen Andualem, Public Relation Director at the Ministry, asserted that the overall design to build the hub has been concluded. He further said the construction of the hub will be able to open a wind of opportunity to attaining and maintain fast growth in the science and technology sector in the county.
Among the various units that has been planned to be constructed the Science and Technology Museum will be one of the unit of the hub that will be able to demonstrate our significant historical tradition related to science and technology.
Four incubator centers that have hi-tech laboratories that will facilitate research and creative works will built, he added. Mr Wondwosen Andualem also said 30,000 square meters of land was prearranged by the government to build different complexes so that to carry out scientific researches and creative works.
The Construction of the hub will begin next year and it is expected to be fully completed in the next five years..
