Praxis Ethiopia Alliance, an international alliance and partnership which aimed at expediting the poverty reduction, environmental restoration and wealth creation efforts in Ethiopia, was officially inaugurated here by President Girma Woldegiorgis and Prime Minister Meles Zenawi.

Prime Minister Meles Zenawi is Patron of the Praxis Ethiopia Alliance, a non-governmental organization licensed in the United States.

Speaking at the inaugural ceremony, President Girma said the alliance is fully aware of the various poverty reduction initiatives launched by the Ethiopian government such as Poverty Reduction and Sustainable Development
