What Happened?

What is in Store?

September 7-9, 2005- A three -day conference aimed at discussing challenges of rural education in Africa was held in Addis Ababa.

The conference proposed solutions for the main problems related to the low-level rural education coverage in the continent.  

 September 4, 2005- The 11^th    Aviation and Business Leadership conference was held here.

·        Also the 18^th African Union of Civil Aviation Extraordinary session took place in the metropolis. 

September 21-22, 2005- Ethiopia hosted first Africa Disability Decade meeting.

The meeting passed decisions about the best approaches to improve the lives of Africans with disabilities.    

October 6-8, 2005- Experts’ meeting on Distance Education will be held here in the metropolis. 

October 10-14, 2005- Expert and Ministerial meetings on the Solemn Declaration on Gender Equality in Africa will convene with the participation of all member states. 

October 18-21, 2005- Member states of COMESA, SADC, Arab partners and Consultants will meet to discuss the second phase Forum on Afro-Arab Investment in Agriculture. 

October 24-29, 2005- The launching ceremony of African Academy of Languages and Meetings of Pan-African Cultural Congress, and the 5^th conference of Ministers of Culture will be held here in the capital.
