What Happened?

June 3, 2006- The 4^th    annual meeting of African Society of Human Genetics was held in Addis at the International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI).

June 3, 2006- A three day work shop that aimed to facilitate ways through which Eastern Africa, Indian Ocean and European companies could jointly work in water, energy and transport sectors was held here in the capital on the grounds of the African Union.

June 12, 2006- An International Conference under the theme" Strategies for Peace with Development in Africa: the Role of Education, Training and Research," was held here in the capital. 

June 13, 2006- A workshop on "Protected Domination and WTO" has been organized and held at the Italian Cultural Institute and discussed best practices for the competitiveness of Ethiopian agricultural products in the international market.

June 19, 2006- The 2 ^nd Regional Water Policy workshop  organized by the Water Resources Planning and Management Project (WRPM) under the Nile Basin Initiative was held here for there days.

July17-19,2006- Sana'a Forum Ministerial meet to be held in Addis.
