UK State Secretary for Foreign and Commonwealth Office, Lord David Triesman denounced the indiscriminate massacre of innocent Ethiopians and Chinese who were workers of oil exploration project in Degehabur area of the Eastern Ethiopia.

The terrorist act, which is inflicted on innocent Ethiopian and Chinese civilians, is indeed a crime against humanity Lord David Triesman said and expressed condolences to the bereaved.

The terrorist act was committed by the self-styled Ogaden National Liberation Front (ONLF) which is the puppet of the Eritrean regime.

The state secretary expressed his belief that the culprits would be brought to justice.

Lord David Triesman called on ONLF to pursue any political agenda it may have through peaceful and legal means.
