The Funeral Procession for Ambassador Zerihun Reta Held Today

The body of Ambassador Zerihun Reta was laid to rest today (February 3) at Yeka St.Michael Church in Addis Ababa.

State Ministers of MFA H.E. Mrs. Hirut Zemene and H.E.Ambassador Birtukan Ayano laid a wreath of flowers.

The funeral service was attended by several ministers, senior
government officials, colleagues, friends and family of the late
Ambassador Zerihun Reta.

Ambassador Zerihun Reta served his country in various capacities with commitment, loyalty, and dedication.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expresses its deepest condolences over
the untimely death of Ambassador Zerihun Reta and extends its profound
